About Dr. Bhalla

A focus on personalized care and patient education

Dr. Bhalla is a trained orthopaedic and spine surgeon specializing in treatments of the neck, back and lumbar spine, with a focus on personalized care and education. After pursuing his undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, he returned to Los Angeles to attend medical school at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Subsequently he completed residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

Dr. Bhalla spent an additional year of fellowship training and research in the subspecialty of Spine Surgery at the Harvard Combined Spine Fellowship at both Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
